Jan: I am a child of God. I am happily married to the man who swept me off my feet about 34 years ago...we've been married 32 years in December. I have two children and 3 grandsons (and they are fabulous!). They bring me more joy than I ever imagined. I love to sing praise to God...it's what I feel God has called me to do. When I'm not doing it, I feel incomplete. I am interested in a variety of styles of music. I like writing. It's really neat when I write something and go back and think, "Where did that come from?" I know it's a God thing when it happens. I love to look at art and photography. I like to read. I enjoy the beach, though I rarely get to go. There's just something about being out in the sunshine, hearing those waves crashing the shore. Makes me want to praise God. Isn't there a song about that? Oops...everything reminds me of a song. I admire beautiful architecture. I try to see beauty even in the most ordinary things. I love teenagers; they are some pretty awesome people. Some tell me I am a good listener. I try to be. I like spending time with my friends and family, doesn't really matter what we're doing.
